This summer's dismal weather has served to highlight the problems we already knew existed with the roof on our house when we bought it two years ago. In other words, when it rains, it leaks. So yours truly is taking advantage of three forecast days of sunshine and cool temperatures to replace the roof. Spent today up above, ripping off all the old shingles.
Do rabbits like hearing endless hours of heavy boots and dragging, scraping noises coming from overhead? Not particularly, it would seem.
But they'd better get used to it if they're going to become the adventure-buns we expect them to be in years to come.
Awwwww, poor little fluff-balls; I can imagine they are not happy with all the strange noises coming from over their tiny heads. The urge to scoop them up and snuggle their fears away is just overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteI think they're doing a little parody of rabbit fear to win treats. When you're up there on the roof, really they're kicked back in your chair, smoking cigars.
ReplyDeleteThey look terribly disapproving at your activities overhead.. Particularly during their prime napping time. Why, if you had ANY consideration at all, you'd be doing these things when they're happy and bouncing. Dawn and Dusk, of course.
ReplyDeleteUgh. Sorry about your roof, but their sweet little faces just brightened up my day.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your roof and it must be disturbing the bunnies, but they look adorable in their recent photos
ReplyDeleteOk, so how did the roof turn out? I'm looking forward to pictures of the brand new roof! Neil did the roof on the garage and it was a LOT of work! I can't imagine the house roof and we were picking up nails from the grass with these magnetic devices that we'd made for DAYS!!!
